ASK Now Wiki Launch!
I am very happy to announce that after a good couple of hundred hours, the ASK Now Wiki is live!
So, for those that are not familiar with what a wiki is, here's a brief explanation:
A Wiki is a type of website where the users are able to easily update and create content in a collaborative way. Everyone can edit the same page. The most popular site using Wiki software is obviously Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia. www.wikipedia.org
However, what many people don't know is that a wiki can be created for any topic and can be very useful for sites such as ours. It will allow us to have as much info as possible on living and teaching in Korea and to keep it contantly updated.
More importantly, it allows everyone in the ASK Now community to create pages and update them as they see fit. So, if you have a favorite restaurant or bar in your neighborhood that you would like to let people know about, just create a page and start typing. If you can write an essay or any other document using a word processor like Microsoft Word, you can easily use the Wiki format.
So, visit the page for the city you live in and please, start adding content if you have more info to share. It will help everyone.
For those new to teaching and living in Korea, the ASK Now Wiki will help you go much deeper and find much more info than anywhere else.
