The forums at ASK Now

So, the ASK Now site now has forums.

The forums are there to encourage communication amongst our clients and people in Korea in general if they wish. There are four categories:

1. Get-togethers
2. Helping each other
3. Chit Chat
4. Teaching tips and tricks

I think that's pretty self-explanatory. The hardest part with getting the forum going is to have enough activity so that when new people visit, they will feel as though the board is active and that they will actually receive a response to any questions they pose. Otherwise, it's a bit of a waste of their time.

I think it is catching on quicker than I thought it would. We've had a few leaders who have been actively posting and also replying to questions, and that's been very helpful to get the ball rolling.

I think it will be a big part of the site by next year. The only negative at this point is having to deal with spam from porn sites and sites trying to sell viagra. I'm really amazed at how much junk there is out there. Oh well, I'm looking into ways to improve the filters for stopping the spam more automatically.

So, go to the forum and write something!
